China's first coffee test laboratory construction

Yunnan Pu-Erh from entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau was informed that the national testing laboratory in coffee, Pu er city started construction, China's only State-level coffee products laboratory in Yunnan province, was born.

Pu-Erh tea, coffee cultivation began in the late 19th century, industrialization development began in 1988, in 2015 the city's coffee-growing area of 757,000 acres, production of 402300 acres, 39,900 tons, output value of 1.2 billion yuan, and export of 28,200 tons and earned 69 million US dollars and exported to America, Europe, Asia and more than 30 countries and regions. Currently, Pu-Erh tea has become China's cultivated acreage, yield, best quality of coffee-producing areas and coffee trade and distribution center.

With the development of Pu-Erh tea coffee industry, because there is no scientific, standard, well-equipped, strong technical force of coffee key laboratory for testing, restricts the development of the coffee industry and foreign trade of coffee products. In 2012, the Pu-Erh special municipal government allocated laboratory construction fund of 10 million Yuan, a Vice-Mayor and lead the laboratory work, er entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau has set up actively in the preparatory work leading group, through five years of efforts and a great deal of work, AQSIQ in August 2015, formally approved the construction of Pu-Erh tea State coffee testing laboratories.

National Coffee testing laboratory (er) when completed, will fill a gap in China's coffee products laboratory, for inspection and quarantine of Pu-Erh tea coffee industry, arbitration, research, personnel training and technical exchanges with foreign built multifunctional service platform, provides strong technical support for coffee products, foreign trade, will promote development of Pu-Erh tea coffee industry.
